Partido Popular in Mijas has claimed that European foreign residents in the town are having problems registering on the municipal census. Councillor Lourdes Burgos said that Dutch, German and Belgian people who had taken their passport to the local town hall officers had not been to register because they could not prove that they lived in Spain permanently.
